If you ever purchase a Pen Drive from Ebay their are very much chances that you purchase a fake Pen Drive.Fake means a pen drive which is showing higher memory capacity than it is carry.If we check the properties it shows 32 gb or 16gb but they are of 3 gb or of 8 gb.H2testw can easily check out whats the original capacity of the Pen drive.

H2testw is a very small (400 kB) & simple freeware utility , which will test your USB drive for various kinds of errors. H2testw can also be used to test other storage medias, like memory cards, internal and external hard drives and even network volumes. It also allows you to spot Fake or Counterfeit USB Flash Drives.
How to test any USB Drive with H2testw?
Using H2testw is very easy(no Installation) , just download Hztestw zip file from here, extract and run H2testw.exe file. Now select target source (USB Path), and click Write + Verify button.
Now H2testw writes files to the chosen USB drive and names them 1.h2w, 2.h2w, 3.h2w and so on. Once the verification is done it will display Completion Process window. After it is done it will leaves its test files on the USB drive, so you have to manually delete those files (eg: 1.h2w ..e.t.c).
